Where are the lessons conducted?
All lessons are online using an interactive virtual classroom (Koala Go). You’ll need a stable internet connection, a computer or tablet, and a headset or microphone for the best experience.
Do you offer a trial lesson?
Yes, a 25-minute trial lesson is available for new students. In this lesson, we can discuss your goals, assess the student’s English language level, and ensure we’re a good fit. You can then decide to purchase individual lessons or a package.
How do I pay for the lessons?
Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
Private Lessons: Choose a single lesson or a package of lessons when you book a lesson.
Group Lessons: Choose a subscription option. You can update your payment information and manage your subscription anytime in the Stripe Client Portal.
Can I reschedule a lesson if something comes up?
Yes. You can reschedule a lesson up to 12 hours before the scheduled time. If you need to make changes or have a last-minute emergency, please notify the teacher as soon as possible. Please view the Terms and Conditions to learn more.
Do I need any textbooks or materials?
No, the courseware and all lesson materials will be provided, including any worksheets, activities, and practice exercises. If you prefer to use your own resources, please message the teacher to discuss them.
Will students receive homework or extra practice?
Yes, the teacher may provide optional worksheets, vocabulary lists, and practice exercises to reinforce what was covered in class.
Special gamified homework assignments and personalized review activities are also available for an additional cost to help students continue learning outside of class.
How do I know my child is making progress?
The teacher will update the student progress tracker on the weekly lesson report. There will also be unit assessments after each unit is completed. You are also encouraged to observe improvements in their confidence, participation, and language use during class discussions and activities.
Group Lessons
How many students are in each group?
Each group has 2–5 students.
How are groups organized?
We have different groups for various age ranges (6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, and 18 or older). During enrollment, we’ll place students in a class that aligns with their age and language level for the best learning experience.
Can siblings or friends join the same group?
Absolutely, if they fall into the same age range and language level. Learning with familiar faces can be a great way to boost comfort and motivation.
What happens if I can’t attend a scheduled class?
The class recording and learning material will be made available for students to view on their own. Please view the Terms and Conditions to learn more.
What if we need to pause or cancel the subscription?
You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time in the client portal via Stripe.
Upon cancellation, no refunds will be issued for any remaining time on the current billing cycle, but you will retain access to the services until the end of the billing period. Please view the Terms and Conditions to learn more.
